If you are looking for a guide on installing your PRIME GLASS screen protector then you’re in the right place! Getting a screen protector is a necessity if you are invested in keeping your phone safe in the long run. The PRIME GLASS screen protector is one of the best out there, and features tempered glass that will add extra protection, won’t scratch easily, and will be smooth to the touch. Below we’ve provided a step by step guide on how to install it properly so that you get the most out of your new screen protector!
It might not seem like a lot, but even selecting the proper surface to work on is important when applying a screen protector. That’s why the first step in this process is choosing where you want to work! From there, you should gather your phone and packaging together in one spot. Make sure that you’re working on a clean, well lit, and clutter free surface out of the direct path of a fan to improve the outcome of applying your screen protector.
Once you have selected your work area, get everything out of the box and laid out in front of you so that you can easily find what you need when you need it. The package includes 1 frame, 1 screen protector, 1 alcohol pad, 1 microfiber cloth, and 2 dust remover packets. Make sure that you have all of these items before proceeding.
This step is very important. Even if you can’t see it, your phone likely has fingerprints and dust particles that you don’t want to be trapped underneath your screen protector once you apply it. Use the alcohol pad provided to thoroughly clean the screen, and then use the microfiber cloth to give it a nice polished look. You can also use one of the dust removers to capture any excess dust. Simply peel open the packet and dab it repeatedly around your phone to collect any excess dust.
Next, place the frame around your phone. Make sure to note that the top of your phone matches up with the side of the frame that is labeled “top.” The frame should rest around the outside of your phone. You can apply slight pressure around to ensure that it is fitted correctly.
While holding up the screen protector, make sure that the film you will be removing is facing down. Slowly peel the film halfway off, starting from the top of the screen protector where the hole for the speaker is. Be sure to keep your fingers away from the underside of the screen protector to avoid leaving any fingerprints. Line up the speaker slot with the speaker on your phone, and line up the top edges of the screen protector with the frame. Next, place your fingers on the top edges of the screen protector to keep it lined up with the frame and slowly pull off the rest of the film. Finish by easing the screen protector onto your phone.
Once the screen protector is fully on your phone, remove the frame and get out the microfiber cloth again. Use the cloth to press down on the screen protector to smooth it out. Get rid of any air bubbles by pushing them towards the edges. With that, you’re all done and ready to enjoy your phone with some added protection!
